This publication contains the Code of Liberalisation of Capital Movements, adopted within the framework of the Organisation for Economic Co‑operation and Development and done at Paris in 1961. Acceded to by Canada in 1985, the code establishes binding commitments to progressively remove restrictions on international capital movements among participating states, subject to listed reservations, in order to promote economic cooperation, investment flows, and financial integration.
