Calgary New Buildings - Performance Metrics

This dataset provides aggregated information on new building energy code compliance submissions in Calgary. Each row summarizes buildings by year, energy performance classification, and property type, and reports average values for construction value, gross floor area, building height, energy use, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and energy cost metrics prepared for Open Data reporting. The dataset is derived from building performance information submitted to support energy code compliance for new construction projects. Reported performance values reflect proposed building designs and associated reference-building comparisons under the applicable compliance method. These values are modelled or calculated for compliance and reporting purposes and may differ from measured building performance after construction and occupancy. The data is subject to the following considerations: 1. Aggregation and Scope Each row represents an aggregated summary, not an individual building.
