Green Buildings Priority Stream – Constructed Building Performance

This dataset provides project‑level information for completed buildings participating in the City of Calgary’s Green Building Priority Stream (GBPS). Each record represents a single building permit for a project that has reached construction completion and includes key building characteristics such as entry pathway, floor area, construction value (where disclosed), and modelled energy, greenhouse gas (GHG), and energy cost performance based on documentation submitted at the building permit stage. The dataset includes residential and non‑residential buildings completed between 2022 and the current date, covering multiple performance pathways, including NECB‑based compliance, Net Zero Ready Homes, Net Zero Homes, and Zero Carbon Buildings. Projects that are currently under development or permitted but not yet constructed are not included. As a result, the dataset represents a subset of total GBPS participation and does not capture the full pipeline of projects enrolled in the program. All energy, emissions, and cost values reflect proposed or modelled design performance at the time of permit and may differ from measured operational outcomes once buildings are occupied.
