Payments of Claims against the Crown as per Public Accounts of Canada

At the end of each fiscal year, government-wide financial information is published in the Public Accounts. This dataset, based on the Volume III of the Public Accounts, provides a detailed listing of the payments of claims against the Crown of a $1,000 and over. Claims of less than $1,000 are reported as one amount at the end of each department and agency, together with the total number of such claims. Where the situation warrants non-disclosure, the recipient’s name may be withheld from publication. This dataset is from the Public Accounts of Canada and is not the official record of information. The official version of record can be found on the Receiver General website for the most recent fiscal year and the Library and Archives website for historical years.
