The documentation of threats affecting species in a precarious situation is based on the _ [Standardized classification of threats affecting biodiversity] (https://cdn-contenu.quebec.ca/cdn-contenu/faune/documents/precaire/classification-standardisee-menaces.pdf)_ (MELCCFP, 2026). This classification lists all the threats that may affect biodiversity. However, the activities identified in it do not necessarily constitute threats to all species. Indeed, the same activity can affect some species without affecting others. The threats are first documented at the species level (element), which makes it possible to establish a list of the main threats affecting wildlife and plant species monitored by the Quebec Natural Heritage Data Center (CDPNQ). This information is presented in the resource “__Lists of threats affecting endangered species (xlsx/csv) __”. Subsequently, the impact of threats is analyzed at the level of occurrences of wildlife and plant species monitored by the CDPNQ. All threats affecting a species are evaluated when the available data makes it possible to document their presence and extent on the territory. The results of these analyses are presented in the resource…
