Passport Automated Decision-Making in IRCC’s Global Case Management System (GCMS)

Detailed results from the Algorithmic Impact Assessment (AIA) for the Passport Program Modernization Initiative - leveraging automation through the Global Case Management System for the processing of passport applications. This project seeks to streamline processing of passport applications. Detailed results from the Gender-Based Analysis Plus (GBA Plus +) assessment – For the Passport Automated Decision-Making in IRCC’s Global Case Management System (GCMS). This project seeks to examine how any identified unintended outcomes may be mitigated while supporting passport application processing and particularly how applicants are triaged by the system to streamline identity, eligibility, and entitlement determinations.
