Annual Energy Consumption [City Owned/Operated Buildings]

Energy consumption and GHG emissions data for City owned and operated buildings as per requirements under Ontario Regulation 25/23 under the Electricity Act, and starting in 2024 Chapter 367 of the Toronto Municipal Code - Building Emissions Performance. This data set is derived from monthly utility billing. Additional details: In scope: Buildings owned and operated by the City of Toronto, Toronto Parking Authority, Toronto Public Library, Toronto Transit Commission and Toronto Zoo where the City of Toronto (or the mentioned agencies) are responsible for making the payments for the building or facility’s energy consumption. Out of scope: Buildings owned and operated by agencies not specifically mentioned as ‘in scope’ and leased properties.
