The City of Toronto entered into a 20-year contractual agreement with Astral Out-of-Home in 2007 for the installation and maintenance of up to 25,000 street furniture elements including up to 2,000 poster boards on transit shelters. This program is a public-private partnership wherein Astral Out-of- Home manufactures, owns, cleans, and repairs all of their street furniture within the City of Toronto.
