Unclaimed Deposits

Unclaimed deposits collected as security to protect City property (e.g. road construction, renovations, street events). The City collects these deposits and tracks them. Once the construction, event or renovation, etc. is complete, City staff from various program areas (e.g. Economic Development, Toronto Water) conduct a final inspection to ensure no damage occurred to City property and approve the reimbursement of the deposit.
