Z39.50 - Library Catalogue

Z39.50 provides real-time library catalogue access. It is an international standard client-server, application layer communications protocol for searching and retrieving information from a database over a TCP/IP computer network. The data is stored in the Toronto Public Library's Integrated Library System (ILS).
