CSO Discharge Monitoring for CSO Program
This data was collected to comply with the Provincial Environment Act Licence No. 3042 and the Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Master Plan. Samples were collected from select CSO locations during overflow events in 2015, 2023 and 2024. For the 2023 and 2024 samples, Escherichia coliform was analyzed by a contract laboratory and total kjeldahl nitrogen was calculated by the laboratory. An asterisk, "*", means the average value of composited samples reported, N/A mean not available, NALE means not analyzed, laboratory error and NAIA means not analyzed insufficient aliquot. A value with a less than sign means the sample was less than the minimum detection for the test, and a greater than sign means the value was greater than the maximum detection for the test. For further context regarding this data please see the 2024 River, Stream, and CSO Discharge Water Quality Monitoring Report (https://legacy.winnipeg.ca/waterandwaste/cso/csomp.stm)
