This dataset contains the results reported for the Trends in Timber Harvesting indicator published on Environmental Reporting BC. The Timber Harvesting Indicator illustrates how much timber is harvested annually and how the actual timber harvest compares with the Allowable Annual Cut (AAC). The AAC information is derived from the Timber Supply Review (TSR) determination process for each Timber Supply Area. Timber harvest is derived from Harvest Billing System. All data used are summarized and rolled up at a high level. This indicator is a composite from the Timber Supply Review process and the Harvest Billing System. The provincial Timber Supply Forecast is a summary of the management unit harvest forecast data. None of the data used to create timber harvest indicator can be traced back to sole harvest areas or designated tenures. These datasets are derived from the ministry’s own data source and have been created by government employees.
