On February 24, 2022, Russia began a full-scale military invasion of Ukraine, launching attacks on many cities. The Government of Canada has since put in place measures to help Ukrainians in and outside Canada. If you are a Canadian in Ukraine and need emergency consular assistance, contact the Emergency Watch and Response Centre. We advise travelers to avoid all travel to Ukraine due to the Russian military invasion.
