Contained within the 5th Edition (1978 to 1995) of the National Atlas of Canada are maps of Canada (with corresponding Windsor-Quebec insets) showing centres of employment for four manufacturing sectors (refined petroleum and coal products, clothing, electrical and electronics products, and transportation equipment). Data for each centre give 1986 employment in specific sector with breakdown into subsectors. Graphs summarize employment for each sector and give total manufacturing employment for Canada. All data is from the annual Census of Manufacturing at Statistics Canada.
