Health Canada has notified Del Monte Fresh Produce Company (Del Monte) that it has no objection to the food use of Event EF2-114 pineapple. The Department conducted a comprehensive assessment of this pineapple variety according to its Guidelines for the Safety Assessment of Novel Foods.
