The City of Brampton has nearly 30 public artworks in its collection and commissions temporary art installations at public places throughout the city annually. Public art enhances Brampton's image and contributes to defining and celebrating the city's communities and identity. The Public Art Program provides art opportunities that are freely accessible to all and encourages the artistic growth to those that experience it. The City of Brampton commission's artists to create works of public art as outlined in each Calls for Submissions. Public engagement events are held for each call to ensure the community prospective is included in each installation and build the city's legacy.
