The Official Plan establishes how land is to be used and is intended to guide development in Kingston over a 20 year period. The Official Plan is reviewed every five years in accordance with the requirements of the Planning Act. Natural Heritage 'A' features, shown on Schedule 7 of the Official Plan, include: Wetlands Riparian Habitat Area of Natural and Scientific Interest (ANSI)
