The aim of the Tract and Neighbourhood Data Modelling (TaNDM) Building Energy and Emissions Inventory is to provide building energy and greenhouse gas emissions data grouped by building categories, vintages and spatial scales at higher resolutions than otherwise available to meet community energy planning requirements. It was developed collaboratively by Natural Resources Canada, the province of British Columbia (B.C.), FortisBC, BC Hydro and BC Assessment, supported by other organizations and individuals via the TaNDM Steering Committee. The TaNDM 2021 demonstration inventory for Kelowna, B.C., presents building and unit counts, natural gas and electricity meter counts, metered natural gas and electricity consumption and GHG emissions Scopes 1 and 2 in five separate reports organized as follows: Inventory Report 1: by major building category and up to four vintages. Inventory Report 2: by building sub-category and two or no vintages. Inventory Report 3: by Building Code Parts (3 & 9) and four vintages. Inventory Report 4: by B.C. Building Code Occupancy Codes and up to four vintages. Inventory Report 5: by neighborhood scale, by major building category and up to four vintages.…
