This study, in support of the Living Labs Initiative in Ontario (LLON), collected freshwater fish biomonitoring data using electrofishing and environmental DNA (eDNA) metabarcoding. Collections occurred three times in 2022 (June, August, October) at four experimental sites in the Lake Erie Basin (Upper Medway, East Medway, Big Creek, and Wigle Creek). The eDNA metabarcoding data is hosted online in the Sequence Read Archive at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) and is currently publicly available under Project Accession Number PRJNA1164776. All data are a part subject of a publication containing method details, full QA/QC, interpretation and conclusions. Citation: Bonk, E., Hanner, R., Bartlett, A. and Tetreault, G.
