Toronto's Participatory Budget Pilot (2015-2017) invited residents in Ward 33 and the neighbourhoods of Oakridge and Rustic to suggest community improvement ideas and vote on which projects would be funded. More information is available at https://www.toronto.ca/community-people/get-involved/participatory-budgeting The following data are available: 2015 Participant Surveys - this evaluation was coordinated through an external research partner (Environics Inc) and a report of their findings, including summary of these survey results, is available at https://www.toronto.ca/community-people/get-involved/participatory-budgeting 2016-2017 Participant and Non-Participant Surveys - this dataset includes participant feedback provided during 2016 and 2017 cycles and from participants and non-participants after the pilot concluded. For 2016 and 2017, data are broken down for the idea collection, ballot selection ("shortlist") and voting stages. 2015-2017 Resident Ideas During each annual cycle, residents submitted ideas for City review, selected which eligible projects would appear on their local ballot, and voted to choose which projects would be funded.
