This study aimed to evaluate the toxicity of naphthenic acid fraction components (NAFC) from fresh oil sands process-affected water (OSPW). Walleye (Sander vitreus) embryos were exposed to NAFCs that were extracted from OSPW and the assessed endpoints were growth, deformities, and molecular responses. All data are a part subject of a publication containing method details, full QA/QC, interpretation and conclusions. Citation: Marentette, J. R., Sarty, K., Cowie, A. M., Frank, R. A., Hewitt, L.
