Health Canada has notified Fitoplancton Marino, S.L. (Cádiz, Spain) that it has no objection to the food use of lyophilized Tetraselmis chui. The Department conducted a comprehensive assessment of this microalga according to its Guidelines for the Safety Assessment of Novel Foods.
