Building permit intake shows the number of applications approved/not approved. Metrics are updated monthly to reflect data from the previous month. Definitions: - Approved is defined as a complete application on the applicant's first attempt. Not approved includes applications that are incomplete, refused, withdrawn by the applicant, cancelled, etc. - Part 9 applies to all buildings three storeys or less in building height with a building area not exceeding 600 m2, and with major occupancies classified as Group C, D, E, F-2 or F-3. Part 3 applies to all other buildings.
