Annual Rental Value (ARV) refers to the valuation by the City of leasable commercial spaces (the amount for which a space will typically rent based on prevailing rents for similar space in the rental market). ARV is used to determine business tax bill and is the basis for apportioning the Business Improvement Zone levies. It is also a general reflection on the health and size of our office and retail sector. The values presented illustrate lingering post-pandemic impacts starting in 2021.
