RCMP Mass Casualty Commission Recommendation Position Notes

The position notes are the Royal Canadian Mounted Police's (RCMP) response to the Mass Casualty Commission (MCC) recommendations. The positions taken by the RCMP are in line with its existing mandate and authorities, and does not speak to a possible position taken by the Government of Canada writ large. For greater clarity, decisions may be taken outside RCMP control that may impact or change this position in the future. All positions will be revisited regularly to determine if, based on ongoing implementation efforts, changes are necessary.
